WILLALL WR35TMR TARMAC RALLY TRANSMISSION UPGRADE |
Having specified, engineered and built transmission technology for Australia's most successful tarmac rally Nissan GTRs including those that have won the Australian Tarmac championship and also placed outright wins in Targa Tasmania the time was right to release this winning package to the public. Using the traditional Willall 'dont fix it unless its broken' approach the WR35TMR transmission address the areas needed to last hard gruelling stages and be perfectly reliable in the process. Affordably priced and totally proven contact Willall Racing on info@willall.com.au for more information. |
WR35GS PREVENTS EXPENSIVE SELECTOR FORK FAILURE |
Starting to become more common in built GTR transmissions is the issue of catastrophic selector failure. Although we didn't deliberately design WR35GS to prevent this kind of issue the selector travel limiting that WR35GS gives stops the selector fork being hammered constantly when upgraded first gears and big clutch systems are installed. Stopping the selector fork pounding against the end-stop of the synchro greatly reduces the chance of costly selector fork failure, and can be carried out cheaply, easily and with the transmission in the car. WR35TB TRANSMISSION BRACE RELEASED |
Normally we don't feature new products on the front page, however WR35TB is an extremely important GTR product that is now fitted to every single transmission we overhaul. There is an inherent weakness in the GTR transmission case which will allow the rear differential to essentially snap off the back of the transmission. Normally this happens under high load drag racing conditions, but now we are starting to see this failure in near stock road cars. As a piece of transmission strengthening insurance WR35TB is a must have modification for the GTR driver. Find more information here - http://www.willallracing.com.au/transmission.htm#wr35tb |
WILLALL GTRS DOMINATE TEMORA 1000 |
Congratulations to Marek, Duncan and Kev coming 2nd, 3rd and 4th outright in the inaugural Temora 1000 meter standing start sprints. All cars featured WR450 specification Switchable E85/98 Octane tunes and fuel systems, only pushed off the top step of the podium by a Nissan Powered 600rwkw VL Commodore Race Car. As road registered cars that drove to and from the event in middle NSW the WR450 specification cars were untouched, setting blistering track times and showing other Supercars exactly how it's done. WILLALL - WR35TMBTDF Ultimate Built Trans Fluid Solution |
Over the past 12 months there has been a massive uptake in modified transmission hardware for the R35 GTR. One question we keep getting asked by customers of other companies though is "Can you stop my built transmission jerking in first and second gear?" With this in mind we developed WR35TMBTDF (Built Transmission Driveability Fix) a high end GR6 fluid that changes the internal slip/stick behaviour of the clutches to deliver a good street-able and smooth result result. Take it from one of our customers - "I filled up the GR6 with Willall Racings new special blend of transmission fluid and have noticed a marked improvement of 1st and 2nd gear behaviour over the XXXXXX brand fluid. Drove it again and its getting even better as the new fluid circulates and gets into the clutch packs. The clutch take up is a lot more predictable also". More information and pricing coming soon!

WR35TM POWERS WORLDS FASTEST STOCK GTR |
Congratulations go to 'Godzilla 2009' and his superbly presented US based GTR. With stock turbochargers, upgrade bolt on parts and some clever tuning applied to the engine the stock GTR benchmark has been set with a 10.48 @ 133mph pass on FACTORY tyres. Swapping the rubber to something a little stickier upped the ante even further with an amazing 10.36 @ 136.5mph pass. The only modification to the transmission is our WR35TM transmission fluid showing tremendous anti-slip engagement off the line and resistance to breaking down with the stress of track work. |

WILLALL TEAMS UP WITH OS-GIKEN |
Since we push so hard at the track in the development of our Willall Racing products we have renewed our long lasting relationship with OS-Giken testing their new TCD Limited Slip Differential in the rear of the Willall Racing R35 GTR development car. So far the addition of the rear LSD has been good for a 0.3 second improvement at our local test track, and we are looking for even more with the addition of the newly released OS-Giken front LSD. Used in conjunction with our WR35DF Solid Boundary Differential Fluid the results so far have been extremely impressive. |
SECOND TIME WINNER NSW SPRINT SERIES |
For the second year in a row Sydney based Duncan Forrest has won the NSW State SuperSprint series in his R35 GTR. COBB TUNING AND WILLALL BEAT THE HEAT IN VEGA |
Cobb Tuning Motorsports once more raced to the top of the podium at Round 8 of the Redline Time Attack. Despite temperatures that crested the 110 degree mark, the GT-R performed flawlessly not only posting another overall Modified Class win, but setting a new track record for a Modified Class car. New for this meeting was Cobb Tunings use of the WR35WS Brake Water Cooling System. Comments from driver Brian Lock - Helping keep our brakes in check this weekend was the addition of the Willall Brake Water Spray kit. The kit, that injects water into the veins of the rotors to help keep temps in check, made a real difference. The pedal feel was extremely consistent over the longer braking zones

WILLALL EVOX FIRST SST INTO THE 11S |
After a frantic development race across three continents it was the Willall Racing EVO X with SST Transmission and WR35TMX Transmission fluid that was the first in the world to break into the 11 second zone across 400m. Runing an official 11.948 second pass with minimal modifications just clever tuning, and most importantly the strong positive clutch drive from WR35TMX Transmission fluid Willall Racing have been able to outperform more highly modified and cost-no-object build ups where it really matters - at the track. |

COBB TUNING DAYS OF WILLOW |
Not content in setting lap records in the Willall Racing GTR test bench it would seem the Cobb Tuning Racing team also dont mind hamming it up for the cameras. After setting yet another track record at the famous Willow Springs it was time for a fantastic 'Days Of Thunder' Parody and its very cool "COBB Motorsports kicks ass at racing... Turns out COBB Motorsports can't act..." - |
FORGED BACK ON TOP 2010 |
Forged are our US distributor and fresh from NASA I will let Sharif from Forged take over - "This past weekend we had the pleasure to compete in a Nasa Time Trial at one of the nations most popular tracks. There was a lot of stiff competition. In the TTU class there were fully race prepped Viper ACR's, Race Corvettes, and of plenty of Porsche's.. The near 100F temps and 50% humidity took it's toll on the competitors but we manage to best out the competition with a 1:30 lap time 2 days in a row with our Forged Prepped GT-R." Proudly powered by Willall |
COBB AND WILLALL STEAMROLL THE OPPOSITION |
It seems like a normal COBB Redline Time Attack consists of a new lap record and top rung on the podium for the R35 GTR. Now sporting full Willall fluid technology in their GTR Brian Lock (COBB Tuning Driver) was happy to report the following - "We also had our first race on our new Willall fluids. WR35DF rear differential fluid was great with aggresive lock-up on our OS Giken diff. The Willall WR35MO 10w-60 engine oil yielded about 15-20 psi higher operation pressures. A great weekend all around!" In fact the COBB team were so happy they did a little dance for us - http://img706.imageshack.us/img706/6685/gtrcobbtuningrtaautobah.gif See the incar domination here - |
WILLALL NEW LAP RECORD AT MALLALA |
Using some fresh chassis setup and further aerodynamic changes with the addition of the WR35SP Front Splitter, Willall Racing improved their lap time at a cold and sometimes damp Mallala raceway by nearly 0.5 of a second per lap, with a new PB of 1:11.68 at the Porsche Owners Club Sprint Series. Supremely reliable, and arguable the fastest circuit production car in Australia the Willall Development GTR showcased the winning advantage of its technology and cooling systems by being nearly four seconds faster than the next quickest car....which was the Willall EVO X, out of a total field of 60 cars. |
COBB AND WILLALL INTO P1 |

COBB TUNING GTR 1ST OUTRIGHT |
As you know by now Willall Racing supply the transmission fluid and hardware technology for the Brian Lock driven Cobb Tuning Motorsports GTR. Once more they did us proud by standing on the top step of the podium at New Jersey Motorsport Park. It wasn’t a walkover however and electrical problems with the GT-R causing limp conditions were damping their efforts to go all out in Sunday’s practice sessions. The guys worked hard on securing the cars electrical connections to ensure they couldn’t move about under high cornering loads and were rewarded when they were able to eliminate all trace of the problem. The GT-R’s laptimes improved instantly and they were able to turn an amazing 1:06.768! This laptime was the quickest of the entire event meaning that, for the first time in history, an overall win was given to a Modified Class car. The team also take home the Modified AWD and Modified Class trophies for the round. Way to go! Video here - |
WILLALL ON THE PODIUM AT MT ALMA |
The Mount Alma Mile is South Australias most challenging hill climb. Bringing a hardcore lineup of cars from all around Australia the ascent up the side of an ancient Glacier requires both horsepower and skill to get right. As first time entrants the Willall Racing GTR made 3rd place outright and recorded fastest outright time at the first split point against other more experienced competition, and did so being the only car inside the top 12 on factory road tyres and actually the only car in the event on run flats! The tyres Willall used were the factory Dunlop sport. Next years its slicks and P1. Click for the video - |
COBB AND WILLALL IN 1ST PLACE |

The new Cobb Tuning Motorsports team didnt disappoint first time out at the Redline Time Attack Season Opener. Running Willall transmission internals and our top level WR35TMVS Victory Specifcation transmission fluid, not only did the Cobb Car finish on the top step of the podium, it also set a new open lap record in the process with a 1:48.8 around the Buttonwillow circuit. Congratulations Cobb Motorsport, and look forward to more victories throughout the year. |

GTR TESTING WILLALL IN FRANCE |
This immaculate GTR belonging to Philippe Gretz spent the day chasing (and passing) a whole field of Porsches around the stunning French Paul Ricard circuit. In part piloted by 2009 FIA GT3 Champion Henri Moser its clear to see the handling advantage of the GTR. Most obvious though is the excellent track stamina with Willall fluid and hardware upgrades all adding to the immense durability of this GTR as it passed a wide model of Porsches most notably GT2 and GT3 with relative ease. Top shelf performance or shall we say 'Grands Travaux!"There are three videos, watch them all for a fun viewing session - |

WILLLALL SWEEPS FIRST TIME ATTACK |
Willall Racings own development GTR stepped up to the plate against some stiff competition at the first round of the MGEC Time Attack taking outright honours. Battling some highly developed and turbocharged FD series RX7s and a swarm of EVOs the Willall GTR recorded fastest time of the day, remarkably on the roadgoing Dunlop 600 series RSST run flats, which it drove too and from the track. The Willall EVO X development car also dominated the EVOs taking second place (behind the GTR) in the Club AWD standings. |
WILLALL GTR ON POLE AT PORSCHE SPRINT |
As the title suggests thanks to the great South Australian members that had us along to the Porsche Owners Club Sprint Series Round One. Some really nice cars on track in hard 100 degree plus conditions. It was a great shakedown for the GTRs latest round of modifications, testing our new high performance fuel system, E85 fuel conversion, and of course our WR35TMVS Victory Specification transmission fluid. The best news is that the Willall GTR was quickest car on the day by some 3.5 seconds per lap. A solid result and another PB for our WR35 Series GTR test bed. |
WILLALL WR35FS FUEL SYSTEM BREAKS COVER |
After suffering major fuel surge - where the engine cuts out after driving through hard right hand corners at under half a tank of fuel - the Willall engineers came up with their new WR35FS fuel system. Featuring a 1/2 gallon fuel reservoir, and twin external 255 litre per hour fuel pumps this fuel system allows the tank to be run light, with only a couple of gallons, and zero fuel surge. WR35FS also has the ability to support up to 1000hp via its high flow pumps and also works perfectly with E85. Its the ultimate GTR fuel system. More information soon. |
FORGED PERFORMANCE AT CAROLINA MOTORSPORTS PARK |
The Wilall WR35TM test bed, Forged Performances R35 GTR had a really great weekend at Carolina Motorsports Park. In spite of the 6-8 inches of snow that fell on Friday night which made for a VERY exciting haul from Atlanta to Kershaw SC, they arrived to the track on Saturday morning, to the sight of a half foot of snow over the entire track. Surprisingly by noon, the snow melted and the track completely dried out. By the end of the weekend, we set the fastest lap recorded at a NASA Time Trial event at CMP, with a hot lap of 1:36.8. Check the video here - |
WR35TM COLD WEATHER TESTING |
A mix of testing and some good old fashioned fun the Willall Czech distributor takes his WR35TM up into the snow covered highlands of Austria and has created this video to show us all how much skill is involved in driving the GTR in freezing and demanding conditions. Good work as always Jan! Click here for the video - |
GOTO ON THE PODIUM AT REDLINE |
A blown tire at 170 mph could not stop the WR35TM filled Dell? Equallogic GT-R from capturing its first podium finish in Redline Time Attack competition. Brian Lock drove the R35 racecar to a laptime of 1:38.6, just 6 tenths off second place, despite the cars huge weight disadvantage. Autoclub Speedway's long straights and banked NASCAR turn 1 and 2 really played to the strength of the GOTO:Racing machine which is power and grip. In the oval during the Super Session it easily caught the overall winning car, making up multiple cars lengths by the end of NASCAR 2. . Watch all the action here - |
BULLETPROOF GTR TRANSMISSION PACK |

WILLALL RACING MALLALA LAP RECORD |
With a new set of fresh slicks on board and some 18 inch Volk TE37 rims Willall Racing completed another round of testing as the Australian summer comes into full force. With the complete WR35 series cooling solutions on board and equipped with WR35TM Transmission Fluid the previous best laptime was sliced by an astonishing 2 seconds due to the extra grip and pace of the car, making this a new unofficial GTR lap record at Mallala Raceway. |
WR35TMX LAUNCH IMPROVEMENT |
After having several independent reports from customers that with WR35TMX on board the EVO X can use its launch function to greater effect we finally put it to the test. In the warm North American summer a lightly tuned EVO X MR gained a repeatable tenth of a second across the crucial 60 foot mark using WR35TMX as the only modification between runs. Previously on factory SST-F Fluid 1.822 seconds to the 60 foot mark was the best launch, but with WR35TMX this dropped to 1.776 seconds. Extra clutch grip and drive is just one of the many WR35TMX benefits! |
WILLALL WR35TT UPGRADES TOP 700PS |
Installed on the Top Racing development R35 GTR and running 1.4 bar boost pressure the Willall WR35TT IHI Ball Bearing turbocharger upgrades (which share genuine Spec-V DNA) have proven to generate 700ps of power. Dynoed in the warm Hong Kong climate the Willall WR35TT upgrade shows it has the potential to build strong reliable GTR power. Read more here - |

Duncan Forrest in his R35 GTR not only set the fastest time of the day but in doing so he won the Outright Championship. Getting to the top rung of the podium saw the R35 GTR outpace several open wheel race cars, and win with sheer speed, not just consistency. Duncans GTR runs our WR35MP Willall Midpipe, WR35TM GR6 Transmission Fluid, and our WR35TU custom track mapped Cobb Accessport Tune. Congratulations from everyone at Willall Racing Duncan. |
FORGED GTR SET VIR LAP RECORD |
From Sharif Adelbaset president of Forged Performance - "On Sunday I was able to muster up a bit more courage through the fast essess, South Bend, and along with some later braking was able to record a 2:00.002 (AMB Transporder) lap time in my still very streetable GT-R. At the risk of sounding really sentimental, hitting the symbolic 2:00 flat mark at VIR is extremely rewarding to me personally. I am still feeling the rush, nearly 3 days after the event! With the full compliment of Willall Racing coolers and fluids, the GT-R is an unstoppable track machine....until you run out of gas". Watch the video of this amazing run here - |
GOTO RACING WIN FIRST TIME OUT |
As a testament to the preparation and effort put into building their Time Attack GTR, GOTO Racing stepped up with a win on debut after facing some stiff competition at Thunderhill Raceway. Some excellent driving and late braking saw an exciting 'two wheels on the dirt' pass for the lead on Turn 7 as the GTR battled and defeated a 700hp slick tyred Mustang. The WR35TM filled GTR transmission didnt miss a beat operating at 280F in 100 degree ambient temperatures and helping power GOTO to their first of what we are sure will be many wins. Have a look at the full race video here - |
INSIDE THE WR35TM TEST BED |
Testing on the racetrack was one of the foundations of the WR35TM development program. From the data gained during these sessions with the Forged Performance Time Attack car we were able to quickly pinpoint the high demand lubrication areas of the GR6 GTR transmission and tailor our WR35TM lubricant to suit. To put it simply, we race, you win! Take a look at the Forged GTR in action going through its paces with a long list of Willall Products - WR35TM, WR35TC-F and WR35OP - |
GOTO RACING TRACK TEST WITH WR35TM |
The GOTO car got out on track for our first full session of the day and they were VERY excited about our temps. It was about 98 degrees ambient and 140 degress track temp. Our temps after 8 laps of pushing pretty hard were 200 engine (stock radiator), 225 oil, and 250 tranny. Look for more exiciting developments from GOTO Racing as they continue to hone their car to be the fastest Time Attack and Endurance Racing GTR so far. Check out the incar video showing our WR35TM Transmission Fluid undergoing endurance testing here - |
NEW GTR DRAG RECORD WITH WR35TM |
Taken from AMS: AMS GT-R Breaks MPH record....still on pump gas!!! Well it wasn't by much but we did it and we are still on pump gas 93 oct!! New MPH world record of 134.30mph! As you know the old record set by Kenny @ Jotech was a 134.230 and was done on C16 race gas, no exhaust and a few more mods than our car has on it. We also improved our pump gas ET record with a 10.48. Stock clutches in the transmission with WR35TM fluid and a WR35TC-F transmission cooler, power the fastest GTR in the world.
